Principles of data processing
We process as little personal data as possible (principle of data minimization). This website uses no analytics cookies and no marketing cookies. There is no tracking for advertising purposes. We process personal data only if you provide it to us (for example via the contact form) or if it arises technically when you access the website (for example in server log files).
Hosting
This website does not run on our own servers. It is hosted by an external service provider: IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Strasse 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany.
On our behalf, IONOS SE processes the data that arises technically when this website is accessed, in particular the server log files described in the next section. A data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR is in place with IONOS SE. Processing takes place exclusively within the European Union.
The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR, our legitimate interest in the secure and reliable operation of this website.
Server log files
When you access this website, the web server automatically processes information transmitted by your browser. This typically includes the IP address, the date and time of access, the page requested, the amount of data transferred, and details of the browser and operating system. This data is required for the technical operation and security of the website, for example to detect malfunctions and attacks. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR, our legitimate interest in secure and stable operation. The data is not combined with other data sources. The log files are deleted after 14 days at the latest, unless they are exceptionally needed for longer to investigate a security incident.
Contact form
If you write to us via the contact form, we process the data you provide solely to handle and answer your request. This includes your name, your email address, and the content of your message, as well as the optional details company and product. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR where your request relates to a contract or its initiation. Otherwise it is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR, our legitimate interest in answering inquiries. We store your details until your request has been dealt with and delete them afterwards, unless statutory retention obligations require otherwise.
Cookies
This website uses strictly necessary cookies only. A cookie is a small text file stored by your browser.
Language selection: A cookie named pll_language remembers which language you are viewing the site in. It is set and read exclusively by this website and stores only the language code (for example de or en). It is stored for one year.
Privacy notice: If we introduce optional services in the future, we will ask for your consent beforehand. Your decision would then be stored in a further cookie set by this website so that the question does not reappear on every visit. As long as no optional services are in use, no notice appears and no such cookie is set.
Both cookies are required for the website to work. Storing them is permitted without consent under Section 25 (2) no. 2 TDDDG (German Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act). The legal basis for the processing is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR, our legitimate interest in a functioning website. We do not use analytics or marketing cookies, and no external consent tool is in place. You can delete or block cookies in your browser at any time.
Locally hosted fonts
The fonts on this website are loaded from our own web server. When you access the pages, no connection is established to the servers of external font services. As a result, no data is transferred to such providers.
Links to the Nimovis Hub
This website links to the Nimovis Hub, the central account and platform layer of our products. The Nimovis Hub is a separate application with its own sign-in. Simply visiting this website does not transfer any data to the Nimovis Hub. Only when you follow such a link and sign in there does the Nimovis Hub process data relating to your account. That processing is governed by the privacy information displayed to you in the Nimovis Hub.
Your rights
With regard to your personal data, you have the following rights: access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16 GDPR), erasure (Art. 17 GDPR), restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR), and data portability (Art. 20 GDPR). You may also object to processing based on Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (Art. 21 GDPR). You may withdraw any consent you have given at any time with effect for the future. To exercise your rights, an email to kontakt@nimovis.com is sufficient.
Right to lodge a complaint
You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority if you consider that the processing of your personal data infringes the GDPR. The supervisory authority responsible for us is: the Hamburg Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (Der Hamburgische Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit).
Changes to this policy
We will update this privacy policy when the legal situation, our website, or our processes change. The version published here applies in each case. The effective date is stated at the beginning of this policy.
