Who is behind Nimovis
Nimovis builds digital tools for small and medium-sized businesses: everything from a single source, with one login. Two products are ready to use today, free of charge in the Nimovis Hub. Developed in Hamburg, owner-managed and independent.
Why Nimovis exists
Running a small business leaves little time for software questions, and even less often an IT department to answer them. That is exactly why Nimovis exists: digital tools that belong together. One login, one point of contact, one company behind it. The software is not bought in but developed by Nimovis itself, from the first data field to the button on the screen.
Behind Nimovis stands a young, real company: Nimovis UG (haftungsbeschränkt) i. G., a German entrepreneurial company with limited liability currently in formation, based in Hamburg, founded in 2026 and notarized on 20 July 2026. The application for entry in the commercial register has been filed with the Hamburg district court. Nimovis was founded and is run by Niclas Mohr as sole shareholder and managing director. For you, this means: the person who decides is the same person who builds the software and answers your questions. No corporate structure, no changing responsibilities, no dependence on third parties.
Two products are ready to use today: Nimovis Buchhaltung and Nimovis PDF. The Nimovis Hub connects both, with one account and one login. During the Nimovis Hub, use is free of charge. Further products are planned. Nimovis does not promise dates for them: only what is reliably in place gets announced.

Honest in every number
Every figure on this website is a verified product fact. No invented customer numbers, no purchased reviews, no badge-style visuals. What does not yet exist is presented as an outlook, without promised dates.
Clarity before jargon
Technical terms are explained the first time they appear, buttons say what happens, and error messages state what went wrong and what you can do next.
Privacy by default
Your documents are private from the start. Sharing is a deliberate step you can revoke at any time. You can export your data or request deletion directly in your account, without having to ask support.
Making quality verifiable
Quality should be verifiable, not just claimed. That is why more than 1,000 automated tests check the software with every change, and every error message carries a unique code. Nimovis Buchhaltung also includes a built-in check against the GoBD, the German tax authorities' principles for proper digital bookkeeping. You receive a findings list and a grade. This is an honest self-assessment, expressly not a certification.

Every error message carries a short, unique code. When you contact support, you simply state this code, and the cause is already narrowed down before the first follow-up question is needed.
Automated checks with every change
More than a thousand automated checks test the software with every change. New features come with their own checks, so proven functionality does not break.
The tax authorities' rules as the benchmark
Nimovis Buchhaltung follows the GoBD and the European standard for electronic invoices. Important and honest: responsibility for compliance rests with your business. Nimovis provides the right tool for it.
Defined response times
Support requests run as tickets with a traceable history in the Nimovis Hub. We handle them within two working days.
Milestones
Formation notarized: Nimovis UG (haftungsbeschränkt) with registered office in Hamburg.
Application for entry in the commercial register filed with the Hamburg district court.
Brand identity defined: word mark, logo system, and color palette are in place and documented in the style guide.
Nimovis Buchhaltung ready to use: double-entry bookkeeping with finalization, corrections are made via reversal. Plus the 14 key figures of the German advance VAT return (UStVA) and e-invoicing as XRechnung and ZUGFeRD 2.3.
Nimovis PDF ready to use: 20 tools in 4 tabs, including true redaction by rasterizing the page, which actually removes the hidden content.
