Nimovis Buchhaltung
Proper bookkeeping with a built-in check
- Booked by the tax office's rules: aligned with the GoBD, the German principles for proper digital bookkeeping, with a built-in check graded A to D.
- Nothing disappears: finalized entries stay unchanged, and corrections are made through reversals.
- Your recurring VAT report (UStVA, the German advance VAT return) is calculated, and e-invoices are created as XRechnung (the German e-invoicing standard) and ZUGFeRD (a hybrid of PDF and structured data).

- Really gone: redacted content is removed from the file, not just covered up.
- No hidden traces: author and software details can be deleted.

You create your account in the Nimovis Hub. That is free permanently and needs no payment details.
Sign in once
The Nimovis Hub is your central account. One login opens all products. A second sign-in factor, for example a code from an app on your phone, adds extra protection for your account.

Keep your books, edit PDF files, store documents. New products appear in the same account as soon as they are ready.

Questions and answers
What does Nimovis cost?
The Nimovis Hub is free permanently in its basic functions: account, basic document storage and basic PDF use. Packages with more storage, more PDF operations or the accounting product start at 6.90 euros per month. All prices are on the pricing page.
What does GoBD-aligned mean?
The GoBD are the German tax authorities' rules for digital bookkeeping. Nimovis Buchhaltung is consistently built around them: entries are finalized, and corrections run through reversals. An audit trail records everything, and a built-in check assigns a grade from A to D. We deliberately say GoBD-aligned: responsibility for compliance remains with the business, and Nimovis provides the appropriate tool.
Can I send the advance VAT return directly to the tax office?
Not yet. Nimovis Buchhaltung calculates the 14 key figures of the advance VAT return (UStVA), the recurring VAT report to the tax office, finalizes them immutably and prepares the official data record. Submission to ELSTER, the German tax authorities' online portal, will follow.
Who is Nimovis intended for?
For small and medium-sized businesses that want to bring their digital tools together in one place. Nimovis Buchhaltung is aimed at businesses that prepare a balance sheet and use double-entry bookkeeping. A cash-basis income statement (EÜR) is currently not included. The software supports doing it yourself and does not replace tax advice.
