Nimovis Buchhaltung
Proper bookkeeping with a built-in check, currently in a closed test
- Booked by the tax office's rules: aligned with the GoBD, the German principles for proper digital bookkeeping, with a built-in check graded A to D.
- Nothing disappears: finalized entries stay unchanged, and corrections are made through reversals.
- Quotes and invoices in eight designs, also as e-invoices (XRechnung, the German e-invoicing standard, and ZUGFeRD, a hybrid of PDF and structured data). The advance VAT return (UStVA) is calculated.
Nimovis PDF
20 tools for PDF files, directly in the browser
- Really gone: redacted content is removed from the file, not just covered up.
- No hidden traces: author and software details can be deleted.
- Files up to 100 MB with a package (up to 25 MB free of charge), image export for screen or print, every step can be undone.

You create your account in the Nimovis Hub. That is free of charge on the Free package and needs no payment details.
Sign in once
The Nimovis Hub is your central account. One login opens all products. A second sign-in factor, for example a code from an app on your phone, adds extra protection for your account.
Get started
Edit PDF files, store documents and, once it is released, keep your books. New products appear in the same account as soon as they are ready.

Questions and answers
What does Nimovis cost?
Nothing on the Free package: account, invoices and quotes with a monthly limit, e-invoicing, basic document storage and basic PDF use. Packages with larger volumes, designs and dunning levels start at 14.99 euros per month including VAT; your own bookkeeping is part of the Business and Professional packages. Sales have not opened yet; the paid packages can be booked from the start of sales, and the prices shown apply from then on. All prices are on the pricing page.
What does GoBD-aligned mean?
The GoBD are the German tax authorities' rules for digital bookkeeping. Nimovis Buchhaltung is consistently built around them: entries are finalized, and corrections run through reversals. An audit trail records everything, and a built-in check assigns a grade from A to D. We deliberately say GoBD-aligned: responsibility for compliance remains with the business, and Nimovis provides the appropriate tool.
Can I send the advance VAT return directly to the tax office?
No. Nimovis Buchhaltung calculates the 15 key figures of the advance VAT return (UStVA), the recurring VAT report to the tax office, and finalizes them immutably. You enter the values yourself in Mein ELSTER, the German tax authorities' online portal, or your tax firm files the return.
Who is Nimovis intended for?
For everyone who wants to bring their digital tools together in one place, whether businesses, self-employed people or private individuals. In Nimovis Buchhaltung you write invoices, quotes and e-invoices on the Free package already; your own double-entry bookkeeping is part of the Business and Professional packages. A cash-basis income statement (EÜR) is currently not included. The software supports doing it yourself and does not replace tax advice. Nimovis Buchhaltung is in a closed test until sales start.
